The Classic plaid is woven from 100% recycled materials.

The plaid is made from incredibly soft recycled alpaca & sheep wool. Weaving textiles from alpaca fibers is a Peruvian tradition dating back to the time of the Incas. Alpaca fibers are soft, durable, and offer more warmth than other natural fibers. Pilling is minimal, and the throw retains a fresh and new appearance for a long time. The throw is made from 100% sustainable fibers. Elvang is Fair Trade certified at the highest level within the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO) as a Guaranteed Member. This guarantees that the throw is woven under responsible conditions for the environment, people, and animals alike.
